MechZ Code of Conduct
Building a Legendary Community Together.
Last Updated: May 10, 2025
Welcome to MechZ! Our mission is to create a fun, fair, and welcoming environment for all pilots. This Code of Conduct outlines the behavior expected within the MechZ game, on our official forums, Discord server, social media channels, and all other related platforms ("MechZ Services"). By accessing or using MechZ Services, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct.
1. Respect Your Fellow Pilots
- No Harassment or Bullying: Treat everyone with respect. Harassment, bullying, intimidation, threats, or any form of abusive behavior towards other players or Nemesis Gaming staff will not be tolerated. This includes targeting individuals based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other protected status.
- No Hate Speech: Hate speech, discriminatory remarks, or content that promotes violence or hatred against individuals or groups is strictly prohibited.
- Constructive Communication: Engage in constructive discussions. Disagreements are natural, but personal attacks, insults, and flame wars are not acceptable. Keep feedback and criticism respectful and focused on the game or topic at hand.
- Privacy: Do not share personal information of others without their explicit consent. This includes real names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, or any other identifying information.
2. Fair Play & Integrity
- No Cheating or Exploiting: Play fair. The use of third-party programs (cheats, hacks, bots), exploiting game bugs for an unfair advantage, or any other method that undermines the integrity of the game is strictly forbidden. Report bugs to Nemesis Gaming support, do not exploit them.
- Account Sharing: You are responsible for the security of your account. Account sharing is discouraged and may lead to account suspension if it results in violations of this Code of Conduct or the Terms of Service.
- Impersonation: Do not impersonate other players, community figures, or Nemesis Gaming staff.
- Real Money Trading (RMT): The buying, selling, or trading of MechZ accounts, in-game items, or virtual currency for real money or other external currencies/services is prohibited.
3. Appropriate Content & Behavior
- Keep it Clean: Avoid excessive profanity, obscene, vulgar, or sexually explicit language and content. Usernames, alliance names, and any user-generated content must be appropriate and not violate these guidelines.
- No Illegal Activities: Do not promote, plan, or engage in any illegal activities through MechZ Services.
- No Spamming or Disruptive Behavior: Do not spam chat channels, forums, or other communication platforms. Avoid excessively disruptive behavior such as flooding, repeatedly posting the same message, or using all caps excessively.
- Respect Intellectual Property: Do not upload or share content that infringes on the copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of others.
4. Reporting & Enforcement
- Report Violations: If you witness a violation of this Code of Conduct, please report it to Nemesis Gaming support through the appropriate channels (in-game reporting tools, official support website). Provide as much detail and evidence (screenshots, videos) as possible.
- Consequences: Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, permanent account bans, or other actions deemed appropriate by Nemesis Gaming, at our sole discretion. The severity of the consequence will depend on the nature and frequency of the violation.
- Appeals: If you believe an action taken against your account was in error, you may appeal the decision through the official support channels.
- Nemesis Gaming Discretion: Nemesis Gaming reserves the right to interpret and enforce this Code of Conduct and to take action against any behavior that we deem harmful to the MechZ community or the integrity of the game, even if not explicitly listed here.
5. Updates to the Code of Conduct
This Code of Conduct may be updated from time to time. We encourage you to review it periodically. Continued use of MechZ Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Code of Conduct.
